The administration has completed over $ 20,000,000.00 dollars in projects over the last 17 years.

This administration has received more than $18,000,000.00 in federal and state funds.

• There have been numerous paving projects completed throughout the city.

• A farmer's market has been constructed and added to Rocky Ravine Park.

• There is a new city hall and two new fire stations.

• A pocket park in downtown complete with stage and eating area. 

This administration  has worked closely with Freedom Fiber to bring high speed internet to Haleyville.

The administration provided over $ 400,000.00 funding yearly to the Haleyville City Schools.

The city has stable finances which are shown transparency in city audits. Haleyville has a 4 cent sales tax. 1 cent for the hospital for debt retirement / operations for Lakeland Hospital, Haleyville schools receive 10% of 3% sales tax and 25% of our Alcohol tax. We also have a Junior leadership
program for Winston and Marion County students conducted annually.

This administration has built:

• a 400 person safe center

• 6 Quonset hut shelters,

  • 2 at the Sportsplex,

  • 1 at the Senior Center/ Dixie Youth Fields

  • 1 in South Haleyville

  • 1 at the Airport 

  • 1 at the Girls Softball Field

• The city was notified in November 2017, that our hospital would close on January 1, 2018.

• The city purchased the hospital and formed a Healthcare Authority to oversee operations.

• The 1 cent sales tax is for ½ cent for debt retirement and ½ cent for hospital operation.

• This purchase provides healthcare to the citizens of Haleyville.
